Students participating in this program benefit from the combination of a strong, foundational undergraduate experience and early acceptance into a competitive counseling master's program, thus shortening the application process for graduate schools. 

• Students who are accepted start their senior or final year of undergraduate study knowing their plan for graduate school. 
• Students matriculate into a close-knit cohort community focused on intersectional and social justice-oriented mental health practice in real-world settings.

  • Copies of undergraduate transcripts - Scotties, we have you covered. Your graduate admission counselor will request Agnes Scott transcripts from the Registrar. Just submit any transcripts for other undergraduate or graduate institutions you have attended.

• 参与授予: Applicants to the Agnes Early program are held accountable to the same admission standards as all other graduate applicants, and must complete the bachelor’s degree prior to matriculating into the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.  

Bachelor’s Degree-Seeking Students Admitted in the 艾格尼丝加速 Early Assurance program

• 有条件录取: Bachelor's degree seeking students who are admitted to participate will receive a “conditional acceptance” letter. 
  • Conditional acceptance means that accepted students must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA through the completion of their bachelor’s degree to matriculate into the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's program. 
  • Students who are not able to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA could lose their spot in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
  • A $350 enrollment deposit is required to reserve your seat in the fall cohort that begins after your bachelor's degree conferral.

• By beginning your graduate studies in your senior year at Agnes Scott, you’ll be able to earn up to six credits of graduate level coursework before graduating.

Scotties in their first and second year of study can use that time to explore their options. The application process to participate in the 艾格尼丝加速4+1 Bridge Program begins for Scotties during their junior year. Once you have completed 76-hours of your undergraduate coursework, just follow these steps:

   • Typically the second semester of your junior year, but no later than the first semester of your senior year.

2. 一经批准参加, 艾格尼丝加速 students take up to six credit hours of approved graduate-level coursework during their final undergraduate year (excluding summer).
3. These six credit hours of graduate coursework will count as electives toward your bachelor’s degree, and the grades will be included in the calculations for your undergraduate GPA as long as you apply to the associated master’s program during your final undergraduate semester.
4. 直到你被授予学士学位, you remain a bachelor’s degree-seeking student for purposes of federal and state financial aid, as well as any aid awarded to you as part of your undergraduate admission.
5. During your final fall or spring semester as an undergraduate student (whichever is your last), you need to submit a completed graduate admission application to become a full master’s degree-seeking student after your bachelor’s degree conferral.
   • The process is simplified for 艾格尼丝加速 participants: you just need to complete a new application. You may elect to use the same materials originally submitted for 艾格尼丝加速 or you may update your materials within the 研究生 入学 Application.
   • You are guaranteed admission into the master’s program associated with your 4+1 application provided you are in good standing and have earned a 'B' or higher in each graduate class. 如果你没有达到这些标准, admission into the master’s degree program is not guaranteed, and will be considered on an individual basis.
6. Once you earn your bachelor’s degree and receive admission to and enroll in a master’s degree program at Agnes Scott, the graduate credit hours you earned through 艾格尼丝加速 for which a grade of B or higher was earned will count toward your master’s degree requirements.

• Agnes Scott bachelor’s degree-seeking students who have earned a minimum of 76 credit hours may apply (typically in the spring of the junior year).

• Students from any undergraduate major are eligible.

• Students must be in good standing at 正规博彩十大网站排名学院 and meet the minimum GPA and prerequisite admission requirements for the given graduate program to be eligible for the program.

• 研究生 coursework begins either fall or spring semester.

We recommend that interested students talk with their 峰会 adviser, faculty adviser and/or the graduate admission counselor before applying to determine which program best matches the student’s interests and goals.
